Wide arch Miata help!

Afternoooon All!

I am am looking to wide arch my Miata to run a wider tyre for track and possibly space on the wheels slightly, however I am not a fan of the bolt on look!

After chatting with a local, very competent body shop, they said they can and will bond fibreglass arches to my original arches and smooth them in, however if I drive hard there is a chance I'd start to see hairline cracks.

Im looking for the smoothed, wide, standard kinda look. The one I have found is the pj bonifaco miata, THIS IS THE EXACT LOOK I AM LOOKING FOR, How would it be possible to achieve this look?

Cheers guys and gals

Money, time, patience, and more money. What size wheel/ tire are you trying to fit? That should be your starting point. Right off the bat, I can tell you that clubroadster is going to be of more help to you than MT.net. This crowd tends to adhere to the idea of form following function, while CR exhibits the polar opposite. Spacers, excessive offset, flares with 9 inch wheels, all sore subjects around these parts.

Not a lot of people have smoothed flares but one car comes to mind-The Yellow Banana-I think there's a build for it on Mazdaroadster.net

225s on 9s don't need flares with the right offset. They just need a roll and reasonable diameter springs; more roll for an NA, less to maybe none on an NB.

Autokonexion flares?

true story. What is it that you are trying to accomplish? If it's aesthetics I get it. If you are trying to for handling I'm blown away with the same setup as quoted.
