will a corbeau a4 fit?
I'm just wondering if a Corbeau A4 will fit in a 90 miata these seem to look like the most comfortable for my fat ass (6ft, 225lb). I've seen a couple online but no info how they were mounted. Will i need to do custom work?

Depending on how you want to bolt it up you usually always have to do custom work. Bolting it to the floor can be done with homemade brackets most the time if it is a bottom mount seat versus a sidemount. Sometimes you can buy rails that it will bolt to, or even modify the stock rails to work. All depends on how low you want to go.

Pretty much every damn seat in my experience so far requires custom work. I've fitted both generic seats and now momo starts. I use stock rails and basically force them to work.

I have a corbeau seat with the Miata bracket from Corbeau. Fits perfect with no modding necessary!

My Corbeau rails had to be slightly modified to fit the passenger side... a little grinder drum on the Dremel for a couple of seconds made it work perfect.

If you have like a 36" waist the regular A4 will be tight. They have a "wide" version.

The A4 is gonna sit up pretty high.

Will your head end up higher than stock?

Most likely..unless you forgo the slider.

Will fit in a miata w/slider side of seat rests against side of car though
