Will LC-1 keep memory after disconnected?

I may have asked this before, but I can't find any old threads. The question is simple. If I take my LC-1 controller, disconnect the sensor, then move everything to another vehicle...Will it keep the calibration and all the settings I put on there before? Or will I have to redo calibration and everything all over again?

Yes it will retain it's settings.

When you connect it up there's no requirement for a permanent 12v feed, merely one supplied once the ignition is turned on.

So when the ignition is off, it's effectively unplugged and in a box somewhere in your cupboard.

That said there's no harm whatsoever in performing a new calibration.

the sensor must be plugged in before power up.

Yeah that, otherwise it'll need re-calibrating, and you never want the sensor in the exhaust stream in a running engine whilst unplugged

well it will automatically recalibrate if it's ever powered up without a sensor and then one is connected. and it will screw up if it's not done correctly in free air and then the warmup calibration will also be screwed.

You're saying that if I move it and plug everything back in the way it was before I power it up though, it'll be ok. Awesome.
