Wire sheared at the stock ECU harness plug

Yup,

I was checking my EMB wiring trying to figure out my idling problem. I found out that one of the EMB cutter wires was plugged into an ECU harness wire that's pretty much sheared off right at the stock ECU harness plug.

There's nothing left of the wire to work with. I pretty much need to either find a way of plugging a new wire into the stock ECU plug, or I'll need an entire new ECU harness.

Any suggestions for a workaround?

Thanks!

Pics? I bet this is fixable. Don't quite understand what you're saying though. Pics would help.

I'll try to get a pic, but, basically, one of the stock wire broke off at the yellow plastic connector that plugs into the stock ECU. I have to find a way to stick a new wire into the yellow stock ECU connector.

Easy. You use a paper clip and some needle nose pliers and get the broken pin out of the plug. They snap and lock in, so you have to use a paper clip or something like that to unhook the lock, then they slide out the back of the plug. Then extend the broken wire so it's not shorter than the others and so it won't get tugged on again. Then crimp a new pin on it and snap it back into the plug. Fixed.

Only hard part is finding the pins. But they're out there. People build DIY MS wiring harnesses and I'm sure someone will put one in an envelope with a stamp on it and send you one.

If the broken wire is too close to the pin, are there any wires in the ECU you aren't using? Just move it over to where the bad wire/pin is removed from, then jump wire.

If the NB pins are the same as the NAs, I can pull a pin with extra wire for you from my stock harness and send it to you.
