Wiring harness help!

Ok, I'm looking to clean up my under dash wiring harness as I am performing a full wire tuck on my 93 miata. My question is, are there any vendors out there that sell or will make a simplified harness for the miata? I searched but couldn't really find anything. I want to get rid of all the airbag, cruise control, power steering, a/c, diagnostic connector, maf sensor and any other wiring that I don't need. I will be running a hydra Ecu.

I am currently attempting to do it myself but it is def. some nerve racking work and I am close to throwing in the towel.

HELP!

I'm in the same boat. I want to get rid of all the wires I no longer need and have them properly tucked. I bought a complete wiring loom with everything intact to sort through, but then I found someone who is willing to do this for me. Just drop off the car, loom, wiring diagram and my wishlist and he'll have it done a couple of weeks later.

If you're gonna do this yourself, get a wire-savvy friend to help you, unwrap and label everything before you start cutting ----. Print the wiring diagrams and lay the whole loom out like it was in the car, that should help you visualize how to rewrap the whole thing as well.

Yea, the thing is I already took the entire harness out of the car and didn't do a great job labeling cause I thought I'd be able to figure it out through the wiring diagrams I have but it's def. not that easy. I have the whole harness stretched out on my basement floor and been picking at it but it's just taking too long and I don't want to accidentally cut something I may need.

I know they make nice simple harnesses for Hondas from places like rywire.com and chasebays.com but I'm wondering is there any place out there that does them for Miatas? Or possibly send my harness somewhere to get it done?

Im on the same boat, im wondering if i could just cut the wires and tape them up so they dont ground? follow them into the cabin and cut them some wear?

I'm not sure, I am in the dark on this. I am goin to call a few places tomorrow and see what they can offer.

The airbag is its own harness, however it is loomed with the body harness.

invest in a box of disposable gloves when your going through the harness (It can be pretty nasty)

Take your time. Label what you can before you remove it. Be very gentle with a razor blade as your cutting all the OEM tape off. Take lots of pictures if you have to so you can backtrack. Get your hands on a PDF file of an Factory Service Manual (FSM)

I've already gotten ahold of chasebays and they told me there was not enough interest in it. Sure you can source your own Mil-Spec connectors, pin each individual wire one by one.

Or...just go painless :)
