I've been on the road for the last day so I haven't in touch. I'll get an update tomorrow to see what has shipped, and where we are at on everything.

So, tomorrow has come and gone. Get your **** together and give us an update because this is getting old. Glad to see you can post up in other threads, but can't seem to find the time to update this one.

As far as I know everything went out on Friday, and if anything didn't make it its going out on Monday. Its not like I'm hiding from anything, but I don't have anything to update on it. I called twice, and I emailed once. My partner works at an airfield doing aircraft electronics, so its possible he just hasn't been home to respond. Sometimes he works 16 hour shifts.

Further, its a weekend. Nothing ships today, and nothing physically can ship on Saturday although it can be dropped off at the post office in the morning for shipping on Monday. I know people have been waiting, but ultimately its going to be worth the wait. If what happened should of happened (which I believe it did or else I would of definitely heard otherwise) you guys already have them in the mail.

You're the one who said you would update us yesterday. Since this whole thing started over 2 months ago with a tentative 2 week delivery date I certainly feel you are either hiding something from us or just don't have a clue about your customers. I could care less about your partners issues, job, etc... I want the product that I paid for or my money back. Very simple, you decide.

For what it's worth, you have just lost me as a customer forever.

Enjoy the oil pump gears I did those at no cost for the community, and the gauges for wholesale plus shipping. I've treated you the best I could.

This is a huge project. Almost 10k has switched hands, and a multitude of manufacturers that you can't count on both hands have contributed components to this system. Was it a mess? Yes! Am I sitting here on my first vacation in 1.5 years answering you questions, and providing the best support I possibly can? Yes! I don't know what else I can do for you Jay. We don't have a whole horde of guys working in a factory, two guys have come together and provided a system $150 less then splitfire system introduced long ago that didn't work. We're making less profit margin then them, and providing more product. Just like the oil pump gears that Bill Wilner sells for 400 that I did for 150. Its cheap, its good, you just might have to wait for a bit. The wait is over, and you are going through the roof?

all right, lets everyone take a couple deep breaths.

Travis, I have no doubt that you have committed a lot of time and capitol in the pursuit of bringing something cool and needed to the HP Miata market. You won't get rich doing this so your doing it because you enjoy it. That's pretty cool and I appreciate it and look forward to your future projects. Now, the time-line was a goatfuck. **** happens, this is custom stuff and takes a lot of time, longer than you think. Please take heed though, your communication must be clear or folks get antsy. You said yesterday that you'd be posting an update today. If you say you're gonna then do it, period. That's integrity and it's important. Next, as I mentioned before, stretch out your time-lines 3X so you exceed your customers expectations. The project ends up taking the same amount of time and your customers are ecstatic instead of pissed. See what I mean?

Jay, I hear you, you're only asking what a customer deserves. What say we give Travis an opportunity to succeed and see if the communicating and planning can get a little better on the next project (IRTB intake hint hint).

How about a tracking number so I know when to expect them. Will be pretty funny if a package is sitting outside my house for several weeks while I'm on vacation and someone walks off with it. See where I am coming from? Neither one of us wants to mess with that headache.

The wait will be over when I receive the product. Are you surprised that there isn't a lot of confidence that these have shipped? This isn't the first time we have heard they will be shipping.

Up until this point I have always had a good experience when doing business with you. That's what this is, just business. Everyone knows you have a lot of time and effort involved with the different products you have brought to market. Just try to put yourself on the other side and see it from where I'm sitting.

I know and I sincerely apologize for the miss-communication. Time lines will and are going to be much different for all future products. Its tough tough tough getting things done, because no one wants to work for bottom dollar, and because I get behind on things myself. Its always easier then it seems. I will come through for you guys, and I'm sure I'm going to get a phone call soon with an update on whose orders went out. It just hasn't happened yet, and as soon as I do get that phone call you guys will be the first to know.

If mine hasn't gone out yet and it's a matter of money to get a tracking number, please let me know. I will pay what it takes to get them to me safely or on at least know their exact arrival date so I can arrange to have someone waiting for the package.

Ok,

Update time.

I will be receiving tracking numbers tomorrow via email.

The brackets didn't fit as we intended, so the units went out without a mounting bracket for the ignition box. The up side, because you guys have had to wait, you get the choice between carbon or aluminum mounting plates. Let me know what you want. The mount is not required for function. The box's are tanks, so on that end your set to plug it in and run. The mounting plate is just a goody to make it look nicer basically.

There will also be a full carbon cover that goes over the weapon-x units if you'd like to purchase that seperately. I just have to finish it. It was never intended to be included in the kits. Eat your clubroadster heart out.

Let me know if there are any questions.

Looking forward to some tracking numbers today Travis.

As far as the bracket, I don't care what it's made of, whatever can get to me the quickest. With that said, how long are we talking about?

Considering this was next:
I will be receiving tracking numbers tomorrow via email.
You didn't get a call with whose orders are out.
Travis, WHAT THE **** IS GOING ON? Where are the parts, are they assembled, what needs to be done, who's not answering your calls and why?

I trust you will get this done shortly, but you need to break the loop and stop telling us tomorrow, soon, I will have... STOP! Just tell us where it's at and stop making estimates.

Yah dude, just full disclosure would be best. Everyone ***** up sometimes on build dates and delivery schedules. The pros from all lines of business do it all the time. Most people on this board are human and they **** up just as much as everyone else so that's not the issue-- they just don't like being given transparent excuses.

I spent 18 hours on the road yesterday, and have not had time to look into anything or talk to anyone yet. So while I wanted to get tracking numbers up I wasn't able to. I'll actually be around the resort all day today so I'll be able to recieve all phone calls, and send emails...

836231095 Jay here is your usps tracking number.

I got the full story today. It seems its taken him longer then expected to put together the full boxes. I was under the assumption he was going to have everything shipped on Friday. He evidently had to work extra, and things got in the way. He say's he'll have 5 more tracking numbers for me tomorrow, and it should ramp up from there.

The thing with tomorrow, next week and ectetera is the filter effect of going through so many manufacturers, and having a system which is hugely dependent on each individual piece assembling. Just like changing a clutch there is a long line of things to do. You can't get to the clutch changing until EVERYTHING else required is done before it. The "transparent excuses" may look like they are just ways of hiding information. If you look it up the flood of louisville metro area really did happen. Then there are manufacturers that had problems 2 fold. 1 with meeting deadlines and two they had continous problems meeting our strict quality control standards. We have rejected over 10 different manufacturing trials for the housings just to get them at the level we want. Another example is the last batch of coils we got in 5 of the 20 that were shipped were rejected because of damage in shipping. All the little things have added up in a way that myself or my partner could have never anticipated in time line protraction. Its unfortunate and I appologize for it, but there is no reason to get this hasty language going on. You can apply all the heat you want to this situation, but things are moving at the pace they are moving at, and no one not even myself can speed it up. Its just going to create hard feelings between people, and I don't think anyone wants to see that.
