I received my NB radiator the other day. Haven't had the time to install it yet, but it looks nice sitting next to the car...

Ooooooooooops :

I gave up on the NB, bought from another vendor yesterday.. now it turns up here today!:bang:

Timing radiator purchases is like timing the stock market!

Would you be willing to part with one of those two radiators?

nester 10-23-2008 04:02 PM

Sorry I disappeared on everyone. Between the hurricane and SEMA and moving, I haven't had a lot of time for web forums.

NB models are in stock, NA models are expected to be back in stock this coming week.

Thanks!

Hey guys...wanted to add my install experience to the thread...I have a 94 with power steering and AC-if you don't have AC then you probably won't experience the small issues I found. When I installed the radiator straight out of the box it ended up being fairly slanted with the bottom of the rad closer to the engine than the top vs. being vertical. So I had to make some adjustments to where the side bracket attached to the radiator. I basically drilled a new hole where the bracket attached to the radiator closer to the engine bringing the radiator to a more vertical position. The main reason I did this was so I wouldn't crowd the AC lines running at the bottom of the radiator (I didn't want them to get too close to the crank pulley. ALSO, the dryer is held on by a bracket and one of the bolts was sitting on the radiator (passenger side, top of rad), so i had to dremel it down so that it would not rub - just wanted to bring attention to this as something to check on so you don't put a hole in the radiator over time by it rubbing on that bolt. Other than that, I was able to attach the AC lines to the bottom of the new radiator by bending the brackets a little and finding the correct metric bolts at Lowe's. I also ended up using the stock radiator cap because the one that came with it just didn't fit all that great to me...overall, a nice radiator!

Not at that price, they are on the site though..

90-97 Miata

99-2005 Miata

Use code XMAS for 15% off though. ;) Which makes it 204, but you pay shipping.

+2 on the radiator issues. OEM fans need to be dremeled to mount correctly & small leak coming from the supplied Mishi Cap (1 drop every few minutes when hot).
