Nb fender flares group buy

So the molds for the flares are being made for the NB miata, and they will look very similiar to the ones made for the NA. So I am going to fire up the group buy everyone has been waiting for. 10 spots at $250 a set.

Also, before they finish, I would like to hear any other suggestions you might have for preference of shape.

y8s 02-06-2007 10:23 AM

can you give a link for the NA ones you're referring to? overfender or blended flares?

shipping will be the same as the NA ones. Flat $25 withen the US.

meguina@cox.net is the paypal account that Im running it though. My molder wants at least 50% up front, hense the early starting of the group buy. Expect delivery time to be around one month or so. If you dont like the design/style of the flares when we finalize the shape, I will refund your spot.

y8s 02-06-2007 12:55 PM

potentially interested. great deal. if they look like the NA flares, poifect.

airbrush1 02-06-2007 06:52 PM

a bit excited yes...... been harassing betrayed about this for quite a while!

Dhaark 02-12-2007 10:28 PM

i'm potentially interested in this but in like 2 months... so if it will be available then I'll buy them.

whats the wheels size on the NA shown in that pic? What size spacers or wheels would i need on an NA if i purchase the flares?

Dhaark 02-17-2007 05:46 PM

http://adrenalineracing.com/images/3_11.jpg

would there be a chance they could be simillar to these?

Mouglie 02-17-2007 07:11 PM

those tuckin would be nice if the top of them would meet with the top of the car... they remind me of the gangsters that have their pants hanging down their knees... something similar to the z3 would be nice IMO

Dhaark 02-17-2007 09:02 PM

OK. I think that the ones simillar to the NA ones you already make would look best.

Betrayed 02-17-2007 09:20 PM

NA ones are already made and group buy was done long ago. The webpage I provided is where you get them now.

At the moment, the tuckin ones are pretty close to what to expect, except they will come into the body more like the NA ones I already posted up.

The guy who was volinteered his car is having delays, so if anyone lives in cali and can live without their car for 2-3 weeks please hit me up. A free set waits for you at the end of the road'

y8s 02-17-2007 10:16 PM

dig the n/a style overfenders.... but is a flare that size a waste with +40 15x8s?

airbrush1 02-18-2007 02:16 AM

yes, those tuckin flares!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! do that do that do that!

Betrayed 02-18-2007 04:14 AM

they arent made for +40 offset. They are zero offset. And with Sportmax releasing a 16x8, you will prolly need a flare if you want to fully utilize the amount of rubber you can get on that wheel'

y8s 02-18-2007 10:38 AM

something about the Tuckin99 car looks .... I dunno. bulbous. in a bad way.

I think Charles Cox used the same flares on his 01 race car though.

http://www.miatapower.com/ap/images/marina4.jpg

and they look much nicer.

Mouglie 02-18-2007 01:41 PM

sweet

Dhaark 02-18-2007 02:56 PM

I'll be going with 16x8 sportmax 002 or 15x8's and the NA ones Betrayed makes will be sweet.

airbrush1 03-19-2007 06:03 PM

any updates?????

Betrayed 03-19-2007 07:57 PM

Starting this week. The miata we were borrowing wasnt avalible.

airbrush1 03-19-2007 08:48 PM

good to hear!

Dhaark 03-19-2007 09:58 PM

My car is going into the garage for 2-3 months so I'll be buying these when they come out.

Betrayed 04-07-2007 02:02 PM

Still looking for another miata and finishing up the NA trunklid. Sorry (>.<)'

RusMan 04-07-2007 02:16 PM

Great, I'll probably get a set.

You should make a ducktail spoiler for the nb, I'll buy one too.

Betrayed 04-07-2007 03:33 PM

have you seen the NA spoiler/trunk yet rusman? Would you be interested in the same type of thing?

RusMan 04-07-2007 04:16 PM

Haven't seen that before, yeah that's pretty much what I'm looking for. Maybe more something like this(pic) but what you're doing is fine too.

Are there any updates on these fender flares? The NoPro ones are awesome if you could replicate them.
http://roadsterdrift.com/japan/japan3.html <- the ones on the white miata!

airbrush1 05-21-2007 05:25 PM

hell yeah, ducktail NB spoiler would be sick

gonzoe91na 05-24-2007 11:00 PM
