I saw that a lot of miata owners also run the hydra.
Have/had the intention of installing it in a mr2 but am also offering it for sale if there is someone in need. Because these hydra's are getting scarse and this unlocked ems could be a great solution for a miata owner already running one or wants one.

I've contacted hydra (phil) a while back to get all the unlock codes for the 2.7 and purchased those. Now it has ALL the functions unlocked and that is quite rare these days (Note: you must change your ethernet adapter mac address (to mine) for the key(s) i've purchased to work, can be switched back if not needed or leave it as is.)
This unit has active canbus(tested with gauges) and also has the lamda probe for use with the internal controller.
Also has the separate unit adaptor board for mr2 specific versions but that can be detached.
I also have an rs232 tot USB adaptor, works great.

If there is interest let me know.
I've put quite some money into it. And especially the keys make it worthwhile.

Hopefully it can help someone who wants the unlocked version but without changing their current setup for example.

No longer for sale, have installed it in the car.
Currently busy tuning it and have made myself familiar with the software.

Regarding the intermediate misfire issue, related to 5.1V zener breakdown voltage on the cam trigger which needs to be replaced by 5.6V (but not mentioned how to do it by the manufacturer) i've analyzed the board and draw a schematic and found which one should be replaced and which originalnpart was used. So can do it easily myself.
but the ecu is already running and pre-tuning done. Also converted to COP and is working nicely.
