Go to the hydra ems forums and do a search... I posted info on getting hydra to work with vista

or just download the software and install it and see what happens.

I tried 2.5 on win7 the other day and it required me to register some ocx files, but after that it was fine.

So I figured everything out for anyone that wants to know if you plan on running Hydra on Vista and you have an older version than the latest 2.6 then do the following.
Download the newest version of hydra 2.6 into the Program Files Folder if it wants to default to program filesx86 this means you are running a 64 bit OS of Windows Vista Find the regular Program Files Folder and Install there then find the version of Hydra that matches your ECU mine happened to be 2.5 v12 after you install the 2.6 this installs some basic drivers and files that work with vista this will allow you to run your version correctly. If anyone has any questions on doing this please PM me and I will walk you threw it. Also can be done with Mac for bootcamp featers with windows vista or windows 7. Netbooks with new windows 7 would be ideal for dedicated in car tuning.

So after some base FM maps have helped and running good. Still need to purchase Wide band have not decided to purchase flyin miata's or go with a generic alternative that I saw posted on the sticky. I was told I better upgrade my spark plugs so purchased NGK BRK6IEX plugs they told me to gap these down to 25 does that seem right. Also was looking at upgrading my stock intake temp sensor anyone know any good alternatives to FM or might just purchase it from them. Figured I would Use Hydra's wide band self tuning feature. ATM I am running AEM Tru Boost Gauge and their wide band.

So will post pictures soon. Any info anyone has will be helpfull thx.
