tapping into stock sensors with the stock ECU running

Was considering experimenting with the hydra in parallel to the stock ECU. I know there is a bias resistor across the water temp sensor (air doesn't matter since I use a GM style post turbo) but what's the proper method for "tapping into" it?

Can they both share?

I had no problems just splicing the signal at the ECU for my parallel install.

On the 95-97's the bias resistor is on the ECU board, so a second one would be needed in line with the 2nd ECU signal.
The Hydra might be able to accomodate this on it's own (not needing the bias resistor)??

there's no resistor on the harness and the hydra box itself is universal. there's just a checkbox for sensor types. guess trying it can't hurt... i can verify it with OBDII + defi gauge + the hydra and see if they agree.
