tapping into stock sensors with the stock ECU running
Was considering experimenting with the hydra in parallel to the stock ECU. I know there is a bias resistor across the water temp sensor (air doesn't matter since I use a GM style post turbo) but what's the proper method for "tapping into" it?
Can they both share? |
I had no problems just splicing the signal at the ECU for my parallel install.
On the 95-97's the bias resistor is on the ECU board, so a second one would be needed in line with the 2nd ECU signal. The Hydra might be able to accomodate this on it's own (not needing the bias resistor)?? |
