Default 10AE Turbo FS

Put in the BS section on purpose. It seems our new spammer 2mazdas has a turbo car for sale. http://forum.miata.net/vb/showthread.php?t=290934. I find it odd in the very first sentence in the ad says that it has 400-500 HP. I mean, really, wouldn't you KNOW after a dyno pull or three EXACTLY how much it has, instead of a guesstimate? And 23 large? Let's see...$15k in parts, plus $9k for the car, yeah, I think I can recoup my total cost instead of $.30 on the dollar like usual.

Modifying a car with the notion that you will recoup the invested money is pretty freaking ignorant.

Style bar and sportmaxxes, I doubt this guy has 15K in this car, but thats neither here nor there.
Anyone know what Ric Stephens uses for internals? I know it's a stroker, but is it the FM stroker or the China stroker we saw a while ago? Pistons, rods? Anyone know?

Usually used SCAT rods with JE pistons... although it could be just about anything inside. Ric would build to the end users request. So it could be Pauter or Carrillo too.

None the less, I will be selling my 10 AE for about 1/2 that in about a month.

Mark

PS - It's not a real stroker... Mine was supposed to be a "stroker" motor and the stroke is the same as factory.

Not really... How hard did you look... Plus you wouldn't want mine. It has a huge turbo and NOS.

I looked for 3 months before making a decision. I was actually LOOKING for a modified car, i found several stock AE's though...but none of them were a 'deal' by any means.
