1965 Austin Healey with a turbo miata engine
First off this isn't mine.
Second, my apologies if this is a repost. Third, this thing looks fucking awesome. Austin Healey:eBay Motors (item 190350536792 end time Nov-24-09 18:01:23 PST) |
Beautiful bugeye. This site has jaded me though, because the pressure-chamber manifold and tiny downpipe stick out to me now, haha. All in the name of packaging, I suppose. I'd still drive the hell out of it.

That is the best of both worlds. Old school Brit roadster with a reliable power plant.
Sweet ride, and the dipstick handle is broken. |
I want to do pretty much that same thing to a pre '70 Triumph Spitfire or Volvo P1800...maybe someday.

Love the idea. Always preferred the Datsun 2000 roadster with an SR20DET under the hood...I know there's at least a couple examples of that combo out there.

It's a shame he didn't use a real bugeye. They have much better looking quarters/tailights and body lines. Bugeye front end on non-bugeye car...but I wouldn't kick it out of the garage.
