Anybody been to the Canadian Grand Prix?

Grand Prix weekend is a big deal in Montreal. Crescent Street - in the heart of downtown - gets blocked off for car-related festivities. Get familiar with the decent metro system, because between the out-of-town traffic, terrible roads, French-only signage and people in stoplight-race mode, getting around the city by car isn't ideal. Old Montreal and the Old Port are definitely worth checking out. The circuit is located on an island which was built for the 1967 World's Fair, and is a nice place to walk around if you can get out of the crowd.
Mont Tremblant is about an hour and a bit north of the city, and it's a nice drive if you take Route 327 out of Lachute. It's a nice tourist ski town in addition to having it's own race track.
