Alex Roy is absolutely mental, but I am love with that M5. I actually considered buying one of the Uniden scanners.

If you are buying a scanner. Buy both the BCT796D and the BCT8A. The BCT8 has a LED on it so that whenever a patrol car logs it's position (within 3 miles) it lets you know. and also is a great addition to the 796D. If you want a handheld (harder to use whil edriving) the 396D is a really good one (That is why Roy and many other gumballers use them).

Big Apple to Big Easy rally.

Banger "racing" at it's finest.

i'm actually considering the Power Tour next summer. Either that or getting a slew of people together to cruise out to Woodward for the dream cruise...

ray_sir_6 10-17-2007 12:56 PM

90mph average across the US. DAMN...I thought I was flying when I did 326miles in 4hrs 8min (approx. 80mph average). I would have managed alot higher, but I took my "twisty" route, which lowered my average.

Please tell me the route isn't still going to Narlins. The route map is labeled 2006. Nothing like ending the cruise at the Mississippi and catching the West Nile.

Guys in Michigan were trying to put something together last year. 3000 miles in 8 days, 2 grand prix's (US and Canadian), NYC, Virginia Beach, Tail of the Dragon. There were I think 8 cars that did it. I hope to make it out this year, but it might be a long drive to the starting point for me.

firedog25 10-18-2007 09:56 AM

They're going to try to organize an event out this way soon, I may try to field an entry as there's a ton of cars to pick from out here that are both road worthy and shitty.
