Well, looks like I wont be getting much done today (thats a joke).

I had to meet with my drug councilor today.

I would love to but the work season is coming up so I must decline. The job comes first. Play time must wait. Priorities.

I'll be working all day, till 8 or 9, but I'll probably be down here till midnight or later. I'll bake the inside of the miata later today and celebrate. I have a guy meeting me here around 5 and I'd rather wait until after that. lol

I was always fine with piss tests. I would just drink a drug drink before and stop a couple times on the way and piss. Fortunately working in construction or for yourself, its not really an issue. If you do pop on a test, you tell them you have glaucoma. Works 99% of the time.

I've hear too many horror stories about it not working. I'd rather not take a chance, especially in this job market. It's not like I can just go out and find another job within a week like I used to be able to. I'm not going to risk my livelihood for a little buzz, I'll just have a beer or two instead.

Very true. If its anything important that could be jeopardized I'd feel the same way. All the jobs I ever had it was never an issue, but I know that's not always the case for everyone.

Dude, that test is a joke. I would like to TRY and fail that sometime. I think you'd have to take a bong rip within 5 minutes of putting the thing in your mouth in order to fail.

If you destroy 500 bucks worth of merchandise they send you straight to the clinic for a piss test though. My buddy dropped a board of TVs out of the A steel the other week. He was fine though :)

I never got crazy with drugs. I fucked around with pills and acid a handful of times, but that's it. I had too many friends that went down bad paths due to drugs, so it was enough to keep me in check.

To keep from turning this thread into something other than it was intended for I'll keep my arguments to myself. The guy just showed up and picked up the wheels and now I can go out in the garage and roll myself a fat joint. :)

This thread went better than expected.

I used to have a bad drug problem. Blow, crack, liquor, heroine...you name it, I did it. Had no self control. Really glad I learned some. Quit all the drugs 15 years ago and only have an occasional beer or two once in a great while.

I sure wouldn't mind a spliff now and again though. Fire one up for me please.

I started Trigun today. I'm on episode three and I really like it so far.

All you need here in washington is a note from your doctor that says you're in chronic pain (headaches or back pain work for most) and you are legal. Pot dispensaries are everywhere around here these days.
