A sad Panda? Like Panda Bear? Oh my god you are so ******* queer. Are you one of those people that likes to dress up in the mascot uniforms and get it on with other like minded people? There is a name for it, I'm too lazy to google it.

Anyone going to be riding their bike? I always look forward to spring so I can get out there. I love the rear rack fpr my bike. Whenever I need something from the store I ride.

Good luck to you guys. My goal is losing the 10 pounds I put on this winter.

I've ridden my motorcycle several times since it finally got above freezing, including 60 miles today in 35 degrees, does that count?

haha, don't think that's what he was talking about
I'm down to 2 motorcycles, but haven't ridden either in a very long time. Last time I took one out on the street, it ended up costing nearly $1/4 million (and still climbing) between the doctors, surgeries, therapy, and loss of income.

Been riding the beach bike about 4 miles daily for around a month. A huge improvement on knee pain compared to jogging. I've even gotten my wife in the habit of going with me. I was down about 4 pounds in a month but have gained 2 back some how. DR told me my total cholesterol was 237 and said I needed to start doing something - so I am...

When I started trail biking (mountain biking, whatever you want to call it) I got down to 184 from 235. That was a couple years ago, I'm back up to 215 :(

you're not even trying.

step one: never eat fast food again. that'll give you a huge head start.

never pledge to never do XYZ again... that's just setting yourself up for failure.

i LOVE fast food. LOVE IT. but i also love not being a whale. so i just avoid it most of the time and have it as a treat a couple times a month. same with ice cream, same with anything else that you should really only have in moderation..

honestly, if you eat an even remotely balanced diet, most people just need to cut their portions by a third or a half and add some exercise to the weekly routine. hell, you can get a lot out of eating the same amount of calories, but spreading it over 5 meals a day compared to 3. not eating a bunch of crap for a couple hours before you go to bed helps as well.

but yeah, don't try to tell yourself "never have soda. ever" or "never eat fast food, ever." etc... just cut back on it. you know if something's good for you before you put it in your mouth. if it's not, do it less often, or in smaller portions. trying to "never" do **** again is why dieters fail all the time...

all that said... it was pretty damn funny to read this thread and see Ben say "i'm losing weight!" and then a few posts later "fried chicken, whoppers, chocolate shakes... yeee-haw!"
