Default Ads ads ads ads aaddddss!!!

It's impossible to browse the internet anymore. Almost every page I go to, a giant advertisement slides down to fill the screen. Close that one, and the video or article itself is covered for another 30 seconds until the video ad ends.

I don't even read articles anymore if there is an advertisement on them. I close the entire website and search for an article that isn't cluttered with ads.

It takes over a minute to load websites during lunch at work because so much spam has to be blocked.

What has the internet come to!?!

I dont even have a blocker unless chrome has one built it, and I dont have any problems. Seems way better than it used to be back in my aol days, where pop ups were everywhere.

My associates do tell me that sites of unsavory content are still riddled with ads, so it may have something to do with your morally questionable searches. Everyone says they just look at it for the articles.

+1 on adblock plus

But I agree that the ad's that play before watching video's drive me ******* insane. Especially when the video itself is shorter than the ad!

It is getting horrible. I don't even read the local newspaper's website anymore because you get ambushed when opening the site. The worst is when you try to watch a trailer for a movie and have to sit through ads before you can see the ad for the movie you were thinking about paying $12 to go watch at the theater, wtf.

That's funny. I installed adblock plus on my home computer. Its stopped the most annoying ads.

I wish I knew more about networking/programming to know how everything on websites works.

My favorite is Streetfire. The video starts playing for a few seconds, THEN the video ad starts, but the streetfire video doesnt stop while the ad plays, so you have to rewind it.
