Many countries use a "dd/mm/yyyy" or "yyyy/mm/dd" format which makes sense because the order of magnitude is either increasing or decreasing but mixing them into a random order is just nuts. I've worked for several international countries and to prevent confusion, the month MUST be spelled out or abbreviated. ... and don't get me started on why anyone in this century is still using the imperial measuring system - I'll let this guy do it: |
