And I'm sure it was accidental. Rear-projection of film onto translucent screens was pretty much the only way to simulate high-resolution computer displays in realtime whel 2001 was filmed (1968). But they really cheaped out on the displays in the '82 sequel. (And do you remember the computer that Dr. Floyd had with him at the beach?) |

If that MK2 is actually 900hp (which I don't think it is), it's running some pretty low times, and comes off the line like a slug.

^Those tires seem pretty small to hook up with even 500hp as well. Still a pretty good show.
