I've done similar gliding maneuvers while barefoot, not sustainable or intentionally either.

Subject: Poop Trucks In Dubai - YouTube
The Poop Trucks of Dubai Apparently Dubai doesn't have a sewage system for all those big new buildings. They must haul it all away. Each truck holds 10,000 gallons. Look at the number of tank trucks --miles of them and not one moving. All wait to dump their load. They wait for days. That is a lot of poop. Amazingly, Dubai doesn't have a sewage infrastructure to support its skyscrapers, including the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa. Drivers said they'd been queuing for three days! Unsurprising then, that many dump their loads into storm drains that lead directly to the open sea. Tourists are warned of the risk of contracting serious illnesses like typhoid and hepatitis if swimming on Dubai beaches. |
