I do. Someone said a little about it before, but I'll elaborate.

Now that our lives are so based around computers and social media, every ******* idiot with an idea thinks its good enough to share with everyone else. Now IRL, I HIGHLY doubt the kid with the snake hat would EVER do that around people. Chances are if he did, he'd get laughed at and punched in the face for being such a loser.

Well unfortunately there's more and more idiots like this popping up all over the place and all of them keep "liking" each others garbage. Plus all the regular folk that see it and spread it around are only helping to bump the **** up. Not to mention these same idiots think they'll be noticed by someone important and maybe get their own TV show. Who knows, 90% of whats on TV now is already garbage, why not add some more to the mix.

Social media is going to ruin this next generation. Kids don't go outside and play anymore. Instead they sit at the ******* computer and facebook each other to death or put up videos like this on youtube. Technology has come such a long way and god damn I love it just as much as the next guy, but its going to keep getting worse and worse I fear.

 

Where are parents?

 

This is why I bash everybody I know who has Facebook. When you have to go home from work and 3 minutes later post a comment such as "just got home from work...ughhh I hate my job", then you wake up and post, "just woke up...", you're a loser.
I don't give a F about how shitty your job was that day, and I don't care about your every move...so why do you feel the need to tell the whole world about it?

I agree with Vash that the next generation is screwed, this is similar to my take on government elections. I feel that as a citizen, yes we have a right to vote, but we should be required to take a test on the reason we are voting for the selected candidate. Majority of the country treats the election like it's American Idol...let's see who can sing and dance the gayest, and they're the winner.

I agree with everything you say BUT I'll also note that I'm glad none of this existed when I was young because I would probably have fallen into that trap as well. We all do stupid **** when we are kids (hell, I still do stupid **** now). I'm just glad no one had a camcorder around.

There's a difference between having Facebook and treating your Facebook like it was Twitter. I've deleted those who do that from my friends. I too do not care that you're running errands or that you just ate a muffin; fill me in when you do something worth posting about.

Very true. Kids that don't have a smartphone, FB, youtube videos, etc, are the outcasts in school now. In order to be "cool" you have to have the entire school friended on FB, otherwise you obviously suck at life and should just die. Well, at least that's probably how the other kids in school treat those kids that aren't as into it.

I was born in '84, so I didnt really get into computers until HS. Even then it was mainly just to do homework and ****. When I was younger I was always running around outside climbing trees and shooting **** with a bb gun with my friends. Do kids even get sunburned from being outside anymore? The only thing I really remember about the computer when I was younger was Rise of the Triad & Duke Nukem. lol

For the record, I have almost a dozen nieces and nephews that are mostly between the ages of 10-16. When they were younger they would play outside and only play video games sometimes. Now they all have iphones that they're attached at the fingertips to and they play video games more than one thought a game could be played. I'm very thankful as well that I didnt grow up that way, but I do enjoy the **** out of my iphone now.
