Although he seemed to be doing it out of anger and wasn't very well spoken. I applaud him for attempting to be a parent and control his children. As he stated, previous punishments seemed not to of worked so he is trying a new approach.

If you aren't thoroughly entertained skip to 5:50 and watch the last 30 seconds.

I only can think of what my response would be if my dad did something like this. It certainly would raise my level of rebellion. No freekin way this action would it raise my respect for him.

I’d say the dude who starts off a video of himself smoking a cigarette and later shooting a lap top in his effort to escalate the level of childish disrespect from his daughter is likely to have a grandson with a dog collar.

There is a solution to his problem of having to buy stuff for his kid but it’s too late now to use birth control and it’s probably against his religion anyway. His problem is stupid people are breeding.

Do you even have to do that anymore? It does it automatically.

My daughters are 4yrs and 2yrs, so I'm not speaking from experience of actually having a teenage daughter... yet.

However, I can tell you exactly what the problem there is. It's not the lack of respect that the kids has for her parents... it's the lack of respect she has for herself. Kids who do that to that extent are insecure and have serious self-esteem issues.

How about this... did you ever meet a 15yr-old black-belt? Let me tell you how little interest they have in Facebook tantrums. I have 2 buddies, not in the military, who's daughters have been taking martial arts since they were 5, but it's not their primary extra-cirricular (one is on the debate team). They go a few times a week for fun and practice, don't enter tournaments, and understand how their discipline is a life-skill, and not that it needs to be something that defines them (like so many other kids who only "do" one thing outside of school). They are the most impressive youngsters I've ever met. They look you in the eye, speak with confidence, and wear dresses. One of my buddies actually had to force her daughter to start carrying a cel-phone on her in case of emergencies because she thinks all that texting crap is lame. They are so awesome that it almost restores your faith in their generation... almost.

So I'm a ways away from being the Dad at the kitchen table cleaning guns when her date shows up to take her to the dance... but ---- like this video weighs on my mind. They are currently into standard pink girl crap, but the 4yr old is starting dance and soccer, and the 2yr old summersaults like a damn slinky.

My goal is that when when a new boyfriend shows up to date one of my kids, my talk to him is not about what I'll do to him if he gets out of line, it's what she'll do to him. But the real goal is that I'll never even need to have that talk. He'll never make that mistake. He'll respect her because she respects herself. I know I'm way ahead of myself, but I hope I'm not kidding myself.

I guess I'm lucky that both of my girls are going to be 6ft, blonde haired, blue-eyed Amazons. My 4yr old already has my ass, so she'll be especially popular with the brothers... and my 2yr old is on track for a career in beach volleyball.

Here's my oldest. Remember, I'm almost 6'5"... and I say she's 4, but she'll really be 4 in July. Something tells me I'm not going to have too many boyfriend troubles with them. Fine, fine... enough about how awesome my life is.

Let me restore your faith. My lil bro graduated boot camp today @ 19 y/o. He looks really funny with a high and tight, and his military ID was taken on his 1st day of receiving (when you get to Parris Island) and he looks like a serial killer with not having any hair, BCG's, and the look on his face.
