Mike Skeen in his orange DeVilbiss Audi R8. He was practicing on track with me at Daytona when he dipped into NASA HPDE4. His Mustang was hitting 192 on the front straight back then. Since he was the only one I really knew I was cheering for him to win. He had an awesome start at COTA in the rain last week.

What's with the hole in the mirrors on the McLaren? Where do they vent to? I can't find any info.

Those are whistles to keep deer off the track. :giggle:
|
Maybe theres a hole in teh mount?
|
I was wondering if it just allows air to pass through and around the mirror. Could that be less resistance than diverting air around the outside of the entire teardrop? :dunno:

I think I read that the hole in the mirrors funnel air into the cabin.
Looks like a nice place for someone to take a piss. Careful where you park! |
I think they are sparrow strainers.

Well theres your problem sir. I'm rocking a very very big space station with no issues (1063 parts, 597.12 tons - obviously lag but no crashes)
It's actually not the game engine that's the problem, it's trying to manipulate big stuff in the VAB. As I said, it used to work fine pre-0.90. 651 parts, 2215 tons, worked fine in the previous version: http://www.codrus.com/ksp/asteroid-ship.png --Ian |
Must watch -
Mormon Missionaries get one day off and they mostly spend it with other missionaires at their WARD "church" and play basketball. They have a full size court in every WARD. To bad Mormons cant play pro because of Sunday. If they could they would do good in the NBA. Somehow stumbled upon r/swingdancing while looking for music and found this 'dat FF remix dough Edit: god damnit.... I have no problem going to an autocross and driving in front of people, helping shy people lift in a gym for their first time, competing in front of people, making friends while standing in line and being an extra in gloryhole films....but never, never will I dance in front of people. omfg I am nervous just thinking about it. What the fuck is wrong with me? Even just thinking about taking a dance lesson is so nerve wracking that I sweat. |
Just think about your self masturbating in the mirror bruh, you'll be fine.

Gave it to my brother-in-law for his birthday a few years ago. Guy's a hardcore fan. A friend of mine used to have one of this exact model of first-gen RCA CED (Capacitance Electronic Disc) machine. https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1428088806 Video played with a stylus in a groove. https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1428088806 https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1428088806 This is another very interesting system, which uses film: Specifically, the film strip is divided down the middle. On one side is a complete B&W image for each frame, and on the other is a frame containing encoded chroma information, used to restore a full-color image. http://www.cbsretirees.com/cbs-evr/images/evr-strip.jpg (This exact same concept is used, in electronic form, by S-Video, and it is fundamentally comperable to modern-day component video). Inside the player, the film is scanned by a flying-spot scanner and photomultiplier (basically a super-high-res B&W camera), and then re-assembled electronically into a color image for output to the TV. http://www.labguysworld.com/MotoTelePlayer_015.jpg |
Also, this is a really impressive VCR which used short-length cartridges to store commercials / promos / etc., and play them back automatically.
We used to have several of these at WPIX. Still have some of the old tapes lying around. EDIT: Frak, no embedding. Click through, it's worth a few minutes if you're into this kind of iron-age video equipment. |

Uh, I don't think that's a Miata, dude.
