Thanks darling.

Nice sounds from TVRs on a dyno. Could be interesting for guys in the US who aren't familiar with TVR. Also, 'tis the same hub dyno as I'll be getting tuned on at some point in the probably quite distant future. A Honda S2000 with bolt ons and full AEM tune put down 225hp at the hubs, just to give people an indication as to how it reads. |

Do i see that right? ...a 4.6l making only 225 brake horse power.....not much to brag about. 225HP at the wheels, still not that great. Maybe I am reading that wrong.

This is exactly what I want to do on a daily basis to just about anyone that's behind me when I'm driving. |

My 5.0 Mustang was rated at that back in 1989. Surely they can do better nowdays?

my guess is that they are trying to save on gas since gas is super expensive in the UK, or they just run out of HP funds... or the TVR is just borked.

And the answer is………………..
Rover V8s are just ----. They're based on a Buick design from the 50s, and just don't flow and don't rev. The two things they have going for them is that they're very light and sound good. Popular in kit cars in the UK. TVR used them right through to the mid 90s, which was when they designed their own V8 (liek wot's in the Cerberas in the video), and later, their own inline six (Tuscan, T350c). |
