AIC sounded great on unplugged. I liked layne's vocals better without all the filtering and reverb that you got on those 90's grunge/rock albums.

It's only 4 episodes, but it plays out like a long movie. One of the first series to be use animation and CGI(and actually turn out great). The english dubbing is also really, really well done.

I havent seen too many, but my favorite two by far were evangelion and cowboy beebop. Do you two have any you could recommend?

This should keep you busy for a while. English dubbing is great on all of these, if you don't feel like reading subtitles. Edit: Except Elfin Lied, only watch that in Japanese.

All very good, especially Elfen Lied. I really enjoyed Death Note too.

Also check out Heroic Age, Casshern Sins and the second anime I ever watched all the way through (first being Eva), Code Geass. Xam'd is also really good.

The ONLY anime I have seen where I prefer english dub is Cowboy Bebop.

That's how I do it whenever possible. Rarely do I see an anime where the english dubs don't bother me. I'd much rather hear it how it was meant to be, and read the subs.
