Am I crazy or does Paypal simply not allow you to subscribe to a website such as this by withdrawing from your checking account anymore? It keeps failing my subscription and saying I need to charge it to a credit card... yeah, because I want to have a credit card with nothing on it but a $3.50 monthly charge to pay off.

Thoughts?

 

Not sure what bank you use, but my checking debit card is also a Mastercard, just takes it out of my account. Same thing with my old account except it was Visa.

That's what I use for paypal, and also what paypal uses for the sub to this site.

 

My previous bank I had a Master card debit card which I had attached to my paypal. Withdrew from my bank account. Now I have a new bank that uses Visa, attached to my paypal, withdraws from my bank account.

 

Worked for me last month, this month we'll see.


Unrelated but I have had issues with paypal accepting email addresses lately. It eventually tales them but tells me many times its formatted wrong, WTF?

 

I don't have a single CC, so Paypal is direct to my bank account. No issue so far.
