Came here expecting three wide into turn one on the last lap, leaving surprised but ultimately not disappointed.

That one clip just made the whole reality TV thing worth it. Hells mother fuckin' yeah that was funny. She got beaned by a friggin' watermelon launcher ahahahaha.

God...I think I woke my wife up.

I saw a .gif of the one second in which she gets hit by a watermelon, completely out of context, and thought maybe her head exploded. On the one hand I'm glad she's alright, but on the other, that's one more reality TV contestant the world could've been rid of.

That GT2 finish still gets me all giddy even though I've seen it plenty.

remember my first thought with i saw the clip was someone had been playing some forza 3 online.

No, nor should they have. The only way the vette could get around him and make it stick was by shortcutting the track where it was illegal to do so (pit out). And you can't let someone punk you with the bump & run on the last turn of the last lap, you've got to bump him right back. The crash looked pretty violent but what caused it was just good hard racing.

He was also well within his right to block in one direction once they pulled on the straight. He only went left, and continued to pull left. Had he darted one way and come back and hit him it would have been ugly...but like you said, just good, hard racing. (with an ugly ending)

Corvette should have showed nose left after the bump and run, then darted right when he made the block move. May not have been enough to pull off the pass...but you have to try and pull it off the right way instead of staying left and hoping someone will let you get away with a shit move like that in the last turn. I woulda pushed him all the way off the track too.
