Another Detour.....
On the path to having an actual turbo miata...
I bought a Focus ST to DD
My p5 took a final **** a few weeks back and that was it. The entire driver's rear suspension was rusted out at the top mount and completely broke off. :(
I've owned the miata for almost a year now and I was really ready to dump the rest of the money into to make it what I really wanted -
Now I think I'm just going to look at a more simple 250hp setup.
I love this focus as much as my Mazdaspeed 3 - It feels very similar to drive and actually a bit more refined. It doesn't feel like it has the raw power the speed did, but it makes up for it in the handling department.
I picked up an 2013 ST3 package that sat on the lot for a year. It was originally stickered at about 30000 - I got it for 24500 with 150 or so miles on it.
I feel like I'm the 3rd or so person on this board to get an ST, it's a nice car. I'm happy

Damn it!
I just left the Ford dealer like 15 minutes ago.
Walked around for about an hour an no one talked to me haha. Didn't see any ST's i liked though.
God if i could find one for 24000 i'd be in heaven.
I'm jealous though, it looks sweet!

Dillon, if you seriously want one, talk to Mike Collins at Briarwood Ford in Saline. That place is a class act, and Mike is a great guy and super easy to work with. I bet they could get you one for that kind of money. Feel free to PM me for more info. Mike is a good friend of mine and I wish I still worked at that dealership because they were awesome.

Yeah, it seems everyone and their mother can get me X plan. I've talked to a few people that can get me down quite far, plus 60 months no interest.
If i get this new job (hopefully soon) i'm going to need something better and more reliable.
