Anybody else like post-apocalyptic books?
I like mine as real a scenario as I can get. I'm running out of prospects for new books. Anybody got any suggestions? I dont really like Zombies, Vampires, etc. I like to read about how they survived in a realistic sense. I've read
One Second After Lucifers Hammer The Passage Patriots The Road Alas Babylon Earth Abides Wastelands The Begining Refuge Lights Out Edan The Walk New Coastal Times Three Mokes East |
The Dead Zone - Stephen King is along those lines.
On another note, Book of Eli is on HBO tonight. Good flick. |
agreed with Stein on Book of Eli. I have never read any post-apocalyptic books. But have always been fascinated with games and movies about it. I like it for the same reason, its seems like its such a more plausible thing happening rather than zombies attacking.

Saw Book of Eli, have you guys seen the TV series Jericho? It was pretty cool.
|
I rather liked Jericho. Then it stopped just like that. Cunts. I need to start reading more

Never tried a book like that. I like adventure, courtroom and political satires.

don't fuck with NUMA.

I love them. I gotta remember this thread and get some audiobooks.
|
I highly recommend "Farnham's Freehold". It's not 100% dead-nuts on your genre, but it has some elements in it.
|
Sweet, thanks fogger.
