what a waste. Cool none the less. I would imagine it would be more efficient to have one larger supercharger (because of the intake plenum on the second supercharger)

Looks like those are actually run in tandem.

15psi absolute x 2:1 compression (made up numbers) = 30psi absolute (15psi boost)

30psi absolute x 2:1 compression = 60psi absolute (45psi boost)

I learned this from a Dave Coleman article, it must be true

That air has to be blistering hot by the time it hits what looks to be an air to water intercooler.

I wonder how much wind load there is on that mass sticking above the body work? Hell I feel like I set a sea anchor when the barn doors come up.

Pretty sure I've seen that car with a girl riding the blowers in a bikini.

I'm not 100% sure it's the same one, but there was a car alot like that at the 2006 Woodward dream cruise. I work on Woodward about 2 blocks away from the booth it was at, I could hear it's superchargers screaming.

In a 2nd booth there was a Camaro that had twin superchargers mounted on a Y shaped manifold. It looked like an overall better setup.

It's the only thing that comes up when you search "gto riding".

It was there... I know it's not the best photo, but I was driving and taking photos of the nicer cars....

I think it needs some upper motor....err... blower mounts. Like a triangulated shock tower brace, but vertical.
