Default Is anyone investing in cryptocurrency?

I took a class a while back on BitCoin and Blockchain. Very interesting. At the time, BitCoin was at about $600. I kept thinking of the Dutch Tulip mania I read about as a wee lad. If I'd dropped a few thousand on BitCoin, I could have paid off my house.

Irregardful, I have been researching crypto exchanges and every one has some extremely negative reviews. Every single one. I have been researching for well over a week, at home and when it's slow at the office, and I can't say I have found one exchange I want to send my money to. I know that satisfied people tend not to post their positive reviews, but the recent negative reviews are basically the same for all the exchanges--bad customer service, frozen accounts, can't withdraw their coins, can't withdraw their fiat currency, etc., etc. It's almost like the crypto time has run out and the exchanges are circling the wagons.

So, can anyone here recommend a crypto exchange that they have recent positive experience with. I'd like to be able to move the crypto I buy into an offline wallet.

Thanks,

Localbitcoins was how I always sold coins, seems they are still a thing but no recent experience.

The only exchange I trust anymore is Gemini. The rest are garbage and shady as hell (coinbase included).

Paypal is doing bitcoin, they have a limited variety of coins you can trade, but at least they are a real corporation that's not going anywhere.

bybit, its too big to become bankrupt and nothing else gives the sickening anxiety of dropping a 30x leverage and hoping she goes up.

My brother put $300 in cryptos a few years ago and forgot about it. Checked it last month and it's up to $99K. He won't give me trading advice because he doesn't want to be responsible for giving bad advise. He's making a killing and says he lost money, but overall he's way up.

Has anyone developed a script that sells coin every time Elon Musk makes a tweet yet?

I hear you, mate. Trust in exchanges isn’t what it used to be, and negative reviews are everywhere lately. That said, some still have solid track records — Kraken and Binance usually get a nod for letting you move crypto easily to an offline wallet. Crypto’s still a growing market though, with more people piling in every day, so there’s opportunity if you’re careful. Might be worth checking startupconnection.org for more ways to tap into it smartly.
