Didn't Pushy get banned for starting this same thread like, 2 years ago?
Welcome back. You dyno the teal beast yet? :fael: |
I heard it dyno'd 680whp. On a mustang dyno. In Alaska (colder IAT temps).
|
I think i wana try a megasquirt in the car and see what happens if i try to advance the vvt cam.
How hard would this be? I need to borrow a harness and a vvt megasquirt. Anyone? I want to do this before i replace the actuator. I really dont think thats the problem Side note i now have a built 2004 forester xt with a sti trans/diffs. Kamak 20g sl2 billet wheel turbo. 24psi. It is pretty quick. Best thing is the 6000rpm clutch dump launch. Wowie its like an xwing going to warp or somehing. |

The sad thing is that 680hp is now slower than a bunch of domestic factory cars. Bleh I kind of want to just take out the miata motor from allofit and put it in my black victim miata. And then put in a thurbo iron block ls. I see all these stupid f body losers making more horsepower than god and want to be them |

TBQH I missed Fae a little.
Only a little. |
Well that was a risky click at work.
I mean, if you just want to see if the actuator is working apply 12v to one pin and ground the other while looking at your VVT angle in the hydra. VVT angle should quickly go from max retard to max advance. Dont leave it connected too long, that noid isnt exactly designed for 100% duty cycle. |

I want to see FaeFae attempt this method of diagnosis. With video. |
