Besides sit in traffic, what is there to do in NoVA?
Anything? I'm here for business, and I'll be here for business a few nights a week for up to a couple months.
|
Where exactly in NoVA are you? Also do you have transportation around? If so you can come to my house and finish wiring my MS because I am to lazy to do it.

that's who there is to do. I'll be staying in the Reston area mostly. I've got my slow ass miata, though when it gets hotter, I might rent something for my trips, for some reason the AC only works on fan speed 1 (which doesn't do dick). Jethro Tull at wolf trap in a few weeks, that might be cool. |
Y8s works in Reston, and we are all a stones throw away.
the fan speed is a bad switch i bet, it's a variable resistor sorta thing when you flip to the next speed. |
Reston is not exactly what i call "a fun place to hang out"
so i dont. |

I'll try swapping the control-box-thinger with the one out of my wreck this weekend. I just hate trying to feed the bicycle brake lines through the dash :vash: |
I hear there is a great pizza place in Arlington call the Lost Dog Cafe. Any one game for getting some pizza there?
|
its not as good as tony, ciros, or bon appetite. not the same league, however they do have good beer selection...but im more privy to go to stray cat cafe.
im so game either way. |

Free happy hour = derp
Eat at Ruths w/wine = derp Back to bar for more beer = derp Finish night with a few more stellas = derp Four derp night, not bad. Bonus, saw some asshat at the bar at Ruth's try to pick a fight with a dude that would have ripped him to shreds, lol. Ruth's Chris, the biker bar. How about a Thursday pizza/beer night? You gays pick the spot, I dunno bout your pizza down here. |
i'd do the lost dog. it's over my back fence.
i probably wouldn't do ruth's cris. btw, scott, I made lars stop at lost dog on his way home the other day. beer and teenagers everywhere in there. perfect for him. oh and another fun place to hang is Galaxy Hut. small, good beer, live music. by the clarendon ho-fu. |

Um, I work in Reston Mon-Fri. I usually leave work around 6:45 p.m. I'm right across the street from Champps, off Sunset Hills. Webby and I will be at FedEx this Saturday and Sunday, autocrossing. We're in heat 3 (safe to say we'll be racing after 12:00 or 1 p.m. I will probably offer 2 ride-alongs, Webby might do the same. We will be meeting Brainy FRIDAY night in Falls Church, near his house around 8ish? Webby's bringing a tranny down for him. Also, we'll need grub and drink afterwards. If you want to meet 3 of the COOLEST people in NoVA at that particular moment, then you will be in luck. If you are planning on going back to B'more to get robbed and smoke crack, then you will be out of luck. BTW, which days are you in Reston? I'd suggest meeting up for REALLY good wings in Ashburn (about 20 min drive) on Mondays w/ me and some of the Subaru (NASIOC) guys. -Ed cell: 301-529-2831 |

Lost Dog Cafe and more beer do not equate. They've got a beer limit. Sucks for us huskier people.

I do love wangs :giggle: If it wasn't for the holiday on Monday, I might be able to get the company to put me up Sunday night, I'd love to ride along at the autocross. But I'm really not feeling driving to Baltimore on Friday, then back down and back again on Sat or Sun, then back down again on Tues. |
You should bring the trans to my parents house, and then pick up my racing seat for use over the weekend...
