cliff notes:
(Guy moves into condo. HOA decides (after living there for a year) to sublet all the parking spaces in the neighborhood to a APS (arizona parking solutions). Pretty much you have to pay for parking tags to park in your area if your car is not in your garage.

Guy has parking tags and still gets a boot on his car. He moves his audi into his garage with out taking the boot off or damaging it. Calls Tempe PD and confirms that it is legal as long as he does not damage the boot. Calls APS and tells them to come get their boot. He does not need the audi as he is about to upgrade stuff on it anyway.

Hilarity ensues as APS owner goes apes, in front of cops, and now it seems as if the company was in breech of contract).

reminds me of a local indecent when a ricer hit some car here on a drive. Then tried to run away (funny thing was there were a ton of highpowerd turbo cars. Guess the fart can couldnt out run the turbo's ) long story short they boxed him and hot Galveston PD on him. All on camera and tape.

That boot **** is crazy funny! And really awesome that the guy did everything pretty much by the book. I like how he kept his calm and made the owner of the boot company flip a ****. +1

The other 2 threads about the hit and run and the stolen GT-R were equally as awesome. Both really good reads if you have the time.

The internet can be a bad thing in alot of ways, but god damn it can be great! In 1970 your friends up the road were down to beat *** if you found the guy that stole your car, but they see and know just as much as you do. Enter the internet and twilly 3 towns over spots your ride AND is willing to help out. THAT is what makes car forums great.....besides all the usual info and bs too.

There was a similar thread about a mustang (green iirc, and modded) a year back, close to the GTR story.

Can't find it right now, but the forum stepped up, and one or two guy's who boxed in the stang got damaged by the dude trying to escape.
