Nope. I've driven one, they are OK but they have a few problems (like the diff tears itself out of the car) and they aren't that fast.

Yes!

I have driven one as well (dad had one a few years back), and I would love to have a car with the similar feel of the Miata with the practicality of a hatchback.

By "give up" do you mean a trade or sell the miata and buy that? If it was a trade I'd do it lol. But to pay that kinda cash for something as mediocre as that I'd pass.

I will eventually own one, but plan to always have a Miata. Once I get married that might change though, ha ha! And I'm aware of the rear diff issue, even helped swap one out once.

I'm giving up my Miata for a Geo Metro (have one and plan on buying a second one this week). The Miata (my blue '91) will go up for sale as soon as I clean it up a bit.

We will still have the Lava MSM (my wife's) and I do plan on building an LS1 in 3-4 years but I will not officially have a Miata for a few years. It is a damn shame getting rid of such a nice M1 but I don't have the room to keep it. I'm still having separation anxiety from selling Red Beast and not having Blue around will be hard to take.

I've driven an M3 and a Z3 but not a Z3 M... Probably a fun car but there are only two models (within reach) I'd give up the Miata for; the NSX and the Elise/Exige.

Half the reason I own a Miata is to drop the top.

The coupes do nothing for me looks-wise. They look totally out of proportion. I still think the Z3 is one of the sexiest looking roadsters ever, clown shoe reputation or not.

I would. I've always had a thing for M-coupes.

Id straight up trade the Miata for that, then sell the BMW and buy a couple more Miatas.

I love those cars, alot, but I don't like working on them constantly. Don't do it.

The one and only car I'd give up the miata for:

See, I had a Forester XT that had an STI suspension and had way more power than a stock STI. It was fun but the driving experience wasn't as exciting as the Miata.

I wouldn't give it up for that. Now a Porche, yes, always had a thing for Porches. I really wish that my a-hole brother didn't get my dad's Porche when he passed. Then he turns around and sells the car 3 weeks later, after crying a fit that he wanted the car for sentimental reasons.

the design of the forester xt and the sti is different. sti suspension made it closer to the sti, but not the same cause well the forester is an SUV......dont get me wrong they are cool, but not the same.

It's the same chassis. The only difference is the shocks/springs/sways which I switched over (aside from trans/diff). They're both based on the Impreza platform. Actually, they were. Now the Forester is based on the Legacy platform.

The only reason the FXT is considered an SUV is so Subaru can make mileage and performance claims to make the FXT a leader in many SUV categories.

I've had both in the air and done suspension mods and engine mods on both.

I would give up my Miata yes.

M Coupe + BBS Le Mans is the best eye candy imo. However, I've driven the Z3 pretty extensively and that car is awful. Easily one of the worst BMWs. Hopefully the M Coupe is better.
