Great thread! If I had a turbo as big as some of those, I would want a children at play sign on the front with a X through it or something. No loose objects within 20ft.

Isn't it bad for performance to put wire mesh right on the turbo inlet like that? Seems like that would do all kinds of bad things for flow and smooth air. Seems like you would at least want to distance it a little bit further to allow the air to be less turbulent on the other side.

There have been 2 e30 M3's for sale locally this year that I kept tabs on, but more than I could afford. And they will likely only go up in value, but the e36 was a bit overproduced in comparison and lacks the bold, sexy lines of the e30.
