Hey that's pretty cleverl using the one letter difference in names to confuse your president with the former leader of Al Qaeda! Wait til you hear what your president's middle name is. You'll shit bricks.

Yeah whatever. I was expecting Obama, I mean Osama, to

Somebody was yapping on NPR this morning about the various conspiracy theorii being put forth asserting that bin Laden isn't dead. They raised an excellent point, to wit:
bin Laden has been issuing messages through various media sources pretty much continuously for quite some time. Wouldn't it make sense that if he were still alive, he'd be all over Al Jazeera right now saying "ha ha, you didn't catch me." Instead, the front-page headline on Al Jazeera's English-language website right now is "Bin Laden was unarmed when shot dead." |
That's just it. If he's not captured or dead or under the control of those who are alleged to control the media, then he has a ton of ways to get his middle finger in touch with all of us.
Or he could be hiding and safe for the duration. |

Kind of. The theory is that Bin Laden has been dead for years so they have been chasing a target they get to choose when they "catch".

That theory would presuppose that Osama has a doppelganger who has been issuing statements in the media nonstop since his death, and who is sufficiently convincing that nobody in all of the Arabic world has noticed.

So as to move on... "If the dream is big enough, facts don't count"
- Dexter Yeger I don't care if they've been harboring a dead dude for ten years, cut their funding- period. Then let's see how Jihad they want to get. There's your 2012. ;) |

I actually can't believe how high the opinion is of the military these days. We are treated better than we ever have by the public. Kinda odd considering how dissatisfied the public is with the war we are in. |
Seems like some are trying to make sure Soldiers are never treated like those coming back from Vietnam were. Imagine you were drafted, trained, sent to Vietnam, watched your buddies die, got wounded, etc., and then came home to protestors spitting on you.
Hell, I got a line of handshakes for coming back from Kuwait. Wonder what coming back from Afghanistan will be like. Only 6.253 million seconds until I find out. |

Add WLC and block leave and that sounds spot on.
