Nope. I'll be in bed. Have fun though! What're the LCD prices like this year?

Saw kids camping in front of Brandsmart.

I know of a 129$ blu ray player at Walmart. Only thing I know of really. I don't give Christmas gifts, so I don't care much really.

I'm sitting this one out. This year was supposed to be the one where I would finally buy an LCD HDTV but with the stock market so low I just can't see spending money on stuff I really don't need. That being said, I just bought:
1) a $100 used TV I didn't need (for one of my XBox 360s)
2) a $1800 Geo car I didn't need
3) Yet another Tivo ($100) I didn't need
4) a $400 top for my '91 smurf (I did actually kind of need this)

I did at least show some control and invested $4400 of the $4500 I got for selling my turbo Miata in the market. I know I will end up buying a couple of large HDs for the new Tivo (maybe another $200 or so).

Default Black Friday stampede

A Wal-Mart worker died after being trampled when hundreds of shoppers smashed through the doors.

My black friday purchase consisted of a T1 Torsen to replace my sucky open diff. I did follow a friend out at 4 am because he wanted some 360 games so i kept him company. People are crazy on black friday, not my kind of deal. Wish I had money for a TV cause there are some sweet deals right now.

Best Buy. I think my manager lied because another manager told me its just two weeks revenue today. That makes more sense.

OH MY GAWDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so I went.......fry's electronics. HOLLLY SHIIIIIT!! I literally saw the line FROM THE FREEWAY OFFRAMP!!!!

by the time I got to the doors, all the lcd tv's were sold.....

by the time I walked to the camera section they were all sold...

I did manage to ****** up a pc though
some "lenovo" brand with pentium dual core e5200 or what not, 600gb, 4gb ram, 2.5ghz, dvdrw/etc, 19" widescreen, epson printer/scanner/copier for 500 otd...think its a pretty good deal. settin it up right now.

VISTA is a pita

funny thing: standing in line for the pc (there was a seperate line for every sale item) I literally got THE LAST one..hahahhahah the 100 people behind me were PISSED

then 3 hours to get to teh register, another 30 minutes to actually get out the door, and I was on my way home.

LOL I feel like all the time i wasted was not worth the 250 that I saved LOL...

oh well

I only bought two things this season, and neither of them were planned. I went to Home Depot yesterday for some polyurethane for a woodworking project and happened to notice an entire rack of 1/2 Dewalt cordless drills sitting there. It was the drill / driver model 18v with TWO battery packs and they had it for $99. I pulled out the blackberry and this was 1/2 off even Amazon's price. So I picked one of those up.

Then today, I was looking through the newspaper this morning and bought a very nice 15" Acer laptop from Fry's for $299. They had 300 or so of them in stock. Now I have a replacement for my tuning laptop and some new tools for the garage! Best of all, I spent no longer than usual at Home Depot and only had to wait for 40 minutes for the laptop at Frys. Score!
