Default Black Friday Deal Thread

OK so since I doubt we are going to be competing against each other, at least at the brick and mortar stores, let's talk about any killer Black Friday deals one may have found.

I am not seeing much honestly, at least nothing I am in the market for. But good old HF seems to have a few...
Here is a sliding compound Miter Saw for $120

I just bought this 4-1/2" grinder for $17. It goes on sale on Monday for $10. Definitely worth that much.

I need to pick up a couple of things at Lowe's tomorrow. Otherwise my usual plan is I am not going anywhere a retail outlet unless there is a SMOKING deal to be had.

Here is a good one. I was telling my wife just this evening I wanted to get one of these patio heaters. $100 at Home Depot. Good price from what I have seen.

Wow, I remember waaaay back before the days of HF, I picked up my Dewalt 12" non-compound mitre saw for $300 from home depot. That laser is nice too. Even at my buy price it has been well worth the cost. I trimmed out my entire upstairs with it and have used it numerous times since.

WHEW

So I just got back from this black friday bullshit.
Got a 32" LCD HDTV for the computer room for $230
Got a nice gateway netbook (for tuning) for $177
Some other cool things too.

My buddies talked me into it last second, so I wasn't expecting to get jack ****.

Well when I came up to the checkout at Fry's Electronics with a humongous cart full of cool stuff and the guy said "That will be 560" I instantly got a huge grin on my face

Very happy with the outcome.

My wife is out right now.

We had convinced ourselves that we weren't going...and that there was no reason to get excited...but she woke up early and went anyways.

She already picked me up one of those CD player with speaker combos for $90 (Pioneer), and a $140 Power Wheels Jeep for our daughter.

I tried talking her into a $250 32" LCD like 18psi's...but we really don't need it, just a crazy price.

I'm lame but here is what I am off to do shortly. I really hate clothes shopping. Thus, I need all new khakis for work and all new jeans for play but I can just never make myself go to the store. So, I know that anyplace will have good sales so I'm going to the Kohl's store. It's not attached to a mall so might have a bit lower traffic. (yeah, right) and I'm loading up on 6 pair of khakis and a few pair of jeans and then I'm done clothes shopping for another year. My wife comes home with plenty of shirts for me throughout the year that she thinks I will like, but she won't buy pants due to fitting.

What is HILARIOUS, is that last year I got a desktop bundle from Fry's for an amazing price. I LITERALLY took the last one they had. There were about 20 people behind me that got fucked over.

AND GUESS WHAT????!!!

I come up to get the Netbook at the computer line, and he goes: "Its your lucky day buddy, here is the last one"

I laughed so hard I almost peed myself. There were about 100 people behind me that got told "sorry folks, no more"

That made my day

Default $50 off tires @ Discount Tire Direct

Seems like a good deal if you need tires. Yes, they have NT-01's.

Dark Knight is fantastic on Blue Ray.

I got one of the last deck heaters at the Home Depot I went to. If I had arrived 10 minutes later, no joke, I would have been SOL. I thought about getting two but I think one will do just fine. They put out a lot of heat.

FWIW onlinetires.com has a better price on NT-01 normally, even with the Discount Tire $50 off.

For the NT-01 225/45/15:

Onlinetires.com $513 shipped
https://www.onlinetires.com/cart.php

Discount tire $552 shipped
http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...8238&x=89&y=11

Maybe there is another promo code out there somewhere that can be used with the Black Friday discount to get the DT price lower.

Got a great parking spot close as someone left. Had my wife go stand in the checkout line. Grabbed my **** and she was at the front of the line waiting for me. They had a guy routing people and just let her stand at the front of the line. Walked up, got the next cashier, paid and out the door. Total time in store-less than 10 minutes.

I got my NT-01s from Discount Tire, at the counter, but I used this place to get them to come way down on their price. I did OK considering they did the mount and balance, off the car. If I knew a cheap mounter I would get them from onlinetires.

I bought an insignia 42" 1080P lcd a few weeks ago for $450 down from $650, which was better than most of the black friday deals I saw for a TV of that size.
Otherwise the girlfriend and I bought new appliances for her mother to replace the 20 year old garbage she has now. Washer, dryer, above range microwave all for $105. Lots of people upgrading to new equipment with all the sales taking place and we figured it was an affordable option for us to scrap her old junk.
I still want an Xbox so I can play Forza.
