How about a proper "rum punch" from any Caribbean island? I don't know what they use, but I can't replicate it here in Maryland. Pussers "Painkiller" included.

Damn, out of stock. Got on the email list for it, I'm super curious. The best I've had was on a beach in Barbados, probably the same way you enjoy it in the Caymans. If they don't get back in stock, I might just have to visit the Caribbean again. Oh darn... lol

 

I have been on a horchata kick as of late. Anyone mix rum or something with horchata to make awesomechata?

 

Funny, the first time I ever heard of horchata was last Wednesday at a Mexican restaurant with a bunch of coworkers. I didn't try it, but it sounds interesting.

 

You haven't lived. Of course if you don't live in the southwest and it isn't made by someone who cant speak English, it probably sucks anyway.

I also had 100 yr old Grand Marnier recently. At ~$200 a bottle, you could probably pace yourself.

 

This is my current favorite whiskey, on rocks with a small splash.
However, a vodka and tonic with Deep Eddy Grapefruit makes for a really refreshing drink - go diet tonic if you're in for a distance event.
