Default Any karters on MT?

I just picked up an 08 Italkart Rapido V with a Parilla TAG motor. Going to run a few regional series next year, maybe some US races as well as a winter series at a new track near here in Sumas, Wa this winter. Got a hell of a deal on the kart with boxes and boxes of extras, a spare motor, multiple sets of wheels, tires (new and used), karting gear, axles, hubs, brakes... kinda fell into my lap. An older racer getting out of the sport. He's throwing in all his special tools too which is great. Can't wait to take it out to an upcoming open practice/test day. Lots of learning to do on chassis set up and carb tuning. Should be fun.

Yeah, I know. I figure a budget of 3k a season for tires and entry is sufficient. And much less than I would be spending with the Miata. Noice thing about the package I bought is I literally don't need and more spares.

I've done a little bit of Karting in 80cc shifters here in Ohio, but nothing really competitive, mostly just test days for fun.

I do know Michael from Italian Motors, as far as I know they are THE people to go to for Italkart in the PNW. Maybe you know of Italian Motors?

I drove a TAG kart once, it was a whole lot of fun but the shifter kart is just a little bit more awesome.

Have fun!

Man that looks like fun.
I really want to get into karting.
There's next to no tracks around here though.

Yeah, italian motors being in my neighborhood it's the reason I bought an italkart. I've net micheal a few times and a close friends son used to race on their factory team internationally. I've heard nothing but good things, and with their new track in sumas, they are the shop to be associated with for sure.
