Calling Wiring Gurus : Wiring Terminal/Connector Question

It's an electrical issue on a Ford, not a Ford issue on an electrical circuit :) .

On my driver's side door, the lock/unlock switch stopped working. I traced it back to a corroded wire connection between the door and the body of the vehicle.

How do I repair this? Can I just replace the male/female terminal/connectors for the single wire, or do I need to replace the whole connector or wiring harness?

I don't know about ford but with gm we can replace individual terminals. We have 20 ish boxes of terminals in our tool room and when we look up the connector in our service info it gives us a part number, tray number and all the release, crimp and test probe info. I would think ford would be the same but I'm not sure.

Edit: Judging by the symbol on the connector in your second pic. I think that's a sumitomo connector and we have a bunch of terminals here for them. If you can get it out without butchering it I may be able to match it up to something. You have to pop the white TBA cover off to get access to the locking tabs that hold the terminals in.

Repin would be best - the bubba way would be to peel back the loom on both sides, find the wire, cut and strip and extend it outside the connector and hope you don't have to disconnect it ever again.
