How bad does this bumper look - RBII fiberglass bumper
#4
$50 at most. To get that bumper right, you are looking at a ridiculous amount of work.
It's not something an amateur would be able to get right*, although perhaps I value my time more than others.
*: Close enough, no doubt, but not right. You have some serious work involved in repairing the hole(s).

It depends on if you're a perfectionist or don't care if your car looks mediocre at best.
mesh+resin+filler and lotsa sanding/re-filling/priming to get that sucker into ok shape. Personally I absolutely despise body work, there's a reason why people that do it charge an arm and a leg for good quality work. If you value your time, you'll keep looking for a good condition one, otherwise be ready to be frustrated repairing that thing. Just my .02

a couple hours on sat and a couple hours on sunday and you should be able to get it looking good. the materials and tools cost money. I could see spending 70 bucks at the store for ---- you need to fix it.
in contrast to what others say, it is a new skill. if you like diy and want to try go for it. it can be a dusty job but it is not that bad, no worse than sanding anything.

That's a few hours a day over a week job for an okay job, plus cost of paint/time/tools, not two days if he does it right - the OP has to paint and prep it as well, unless he just rustoleum's like you.
