So I've always hated the appearance NA gauge cluster. Was thinking of doing some ricer dress up to make it more bearable as a daily. What do you guys think of using a gauge face replacement similar to the Integra Type R. Revlimiter's website has a blank template already.

Looks the same. If you're going to swap the gages, do something cool.

Small change is small. At least rotate the 0 position of the tach and speedo to 6 o'clock like the RSX.

I removed my needles and painted them red with nail polish. Simple and easy, but I think it made the gauge cluster look better than it did.

I dont mind my stock NA cluster. The only thing I would change is the backlights. The green hue just isnt me.

I saw go for the ITR deal. I have always been a fan for those clusters in particular.

Dude I seriously don't understand why the hell you would go through the trouble of taking it off, apart, and all that just to change it 0.0001%. I mean they look almost the same.

ITR cluster looks like ****. nothing special about it at all.

If you're going to go through all that trouble do something cool like revlimiter did with his. It looks really sharp and different, while still very cool and not ricey.

That's way similar to stock. WAY similar.

To reply to your PM a little more, kenzo, try combining shapes to make the sort of wedge that you want. Draw a circle and then make a wedge with a few triangles. Then make it into an arc with another circle.

People who are trying to "to make it more bearable as a daily."

If one believes all his or her shitty life's problems could be solved by simply changing the gauge cluster in his or her Miata, then I would imagine he or she has bigger issues.

Way too similar. I agree on setting the needles to the 6 o'clock position - otherwise it won't look much different to you. I'm a fan of the kg works cluster with some retro font like Adam has.
