The ground is a little wet...
Watching the news is like voluntarily having someone spoon feed you shit. But thanks for asking:) |
some people died, but what the hell do you expect when you buying a fucking trailor home in FL? Hurricanes and tornadoes are not mobile home park friendly but people still don't seem to get the message.
It was windy as hell and rained a bunch here, nothing out of the ordinary really :dunno: |
did you really get fired last month fritch?
|
yeah but it was actually 2 months ago, and then they call me back 3 days later saying they can't continue without me and they were wrong to fire me in the first place
I work with morons, but doesn't everyone? :dunno: |
HAHA basically the same thing's happend to me. But when I got fired on a Monday, I also had 3 other unsolicited job offers by that Friday.

Most of the damage was east of Orlando, where I live. Lots of damage in Deland and New Smyrna Beach, where I used to live.
|
I do damage estimates for FEMA, so that makes me an expert on mobile homes.
|
maybe it took out pop viii
|
Looking at today's news I find that most of the damage and casualties were west of Orlando, in Lake county. So I guess it hopped over us. Most of the homes that were destroyed were mobile homes, altho some site built homes were severely damaged. A steel framed church was leveled. In the pictures you can see the I beams twisted like pretzels.

The weather was moderately crappy across FL, but only bad mainly in the Deland area. It wasnt blown out of proportion by the news, some parts of Deland got trashed pretty bad. I think the death count is a little under 20. Two tornados struck ground, along with some pretty major hailstorms in small areas. (i go to Deland like 2-3 times a week, The ormond/daytona area is only 25-30 min. away)
