Cheap docking station for work laptop?

Dell Latitude E7470. I have one at work with two monitors.

I need the docking station to work with two monitors at home as well. I work from home a couple of days per week, so going from two 24" monitors at work to one 13-14" at home is nearly unusable to be productive.

The only thing I've found that looks legit is the ~$150 docking station on the Dell web site. Trying to avoid spending that much since this comes out of my pocket.

Any ideas?

Does the laptop have two different video out's?

I have mine set up with two monitors at home just using two different video outs.

I'd have to look. The whole point was to be able to avoid having to plug stuff in and have it just like at work.

Pull laptop out of bag, snap into docking station.

No messing with monitor cables, power cable, speaker cable.

$60. I posted a link. That's what you want.

Fair. I use my laptop as a dedicated 'desktop' so my input doesn't help here.

Good luck!

Call me dumb, a snob, whatever. I'm not a fan of used electronics.

Then spend $150 for a new one. That's the product you want.

No, I was just hoping there was possibly a source for new that wasn't so expensive. I really don't want to drop the coin when I still have so much other stuff to buy for my new place.

Starting over is $$$$

Docs and KVM's have always been stupid expensive. I remember working at CompUSA way back in the day and someone coming up to me on my second day and bitching about how much they cost. Like I had any control over the pricing.

It's a dock. If it works when you get it, it's likely going to be fine. If it's broken, but another used one. You can go through 3 before you end up paying the same as a new one and I have a feeling that you'd be fine with the first one.
