Especially since there's a rust free 60's shell/roller with cooper tags, completely new interior, new glass, new brakes/lines/seals/etc. AND a spare car for parts for <$5k

Bonus ... they fit in the nearby rental storage units for when space is limited.

That is pretty slick. If I didn't have some many damn projects (equally cool) I would try and do this. My wife pesters me all the time for a classic mini or beetle. AWD mini would be awesome.
