I've been reading about GM having "black boxes" in a bunch of their cars that record that info. There's a whole privacy shit-storm brewing over it - big brother will know you were flat, power-oversteering into that class of kindergarteners crossing the street. The police and insurance companies will own your ass every time you fuck up. "You weren't speeding? Well lets just see what your car says."
