The craftsmans ones arent enough better than the HF ones to justify it IMO.

The Craftsman ones have a reputation for being piece of junk, breaking just outside of the (non-lifetime) warranty period.
I have a couple of Husky ones I bought at Home Depot 15 years ago. Same price as the Craftsman at the time, but much longer lived. --Ian |

Perfectly happy with the HF ones for 1/4 the price. Much as I'd like to support Sears, this isn't it.

Twas a worthy effort. Torque wrenches just aren't a contiguous market in price/quality. Spend $10 for HF, or spend a $bajillion for Snap-On. Do nothing in between.
